Solution 1: Force Restart Your iPhone

Most of the problems are solved by restarting your iPhone. So let’s try it.

  • Press and release the volume up button once.
  • Press and release the volume down button once.
  • Now press and hold the Power/Side button until the Apple logo appears on the screen.

Solution 2: Turn OFF Reduce Loud Sound

In the new iOS feature offering, you can reduce the volume when you use headphones. So it might be the reason for this issue. Because sometimes this will reduce the speaker sound in your iPhone 13. So let’s check it out. To do that,

  • Launch Settings on your iPhone.
  • Then scroll down the screen and select the Sound & Haptic option.
  • Now choose the Headphone safety then scroll down to see Reduce Loud Sound.
  • Turn off the Reduce Loud Sound option and check if this problem still persists.

Solution 3: Turn ON the Use When Media is Playing 

Some users say turning on this option and increasing the volume will fix this problem. For that,

  • Launch Settings on your iPhone.
  • Select the Accessibility option.
  • Tap on the Audio/Visual and choose the Background Sounds.
  • Here, turn ON the ” Use When Media is Playing “. Then increase the volume to the maximum percentage.

Solution 4: Turn ON the Mono Audio

Turning ON the Mono Audio will help you hear the second speaker on your iPhone. This may also cause this issue. So to do that,

  • Launch Settings on your iPhone.
  • Select Accessibility and tap on the Audio/Visual Option.
  • Now turn on the Mono Audio Option. That’s it. Now check whether your iPhone’s speaker is working or not.

Solution 5: Check if your iPhone is in Silent mode or not.

If you accidentally put your iPhone in silent mode, this may also be the reason for this issue. So check it out. If it’s in silent mode, then turn it off.
