Screen Blurry and Green Lines on iPhone

Solution 1: Adjust Screen Brightness

  1. Launch Settings.
  2. Scroll down to see Display & Brightness and then tap it.
  3. To increase brightness drag the slider to right.
  4. Then go back to the Settings screen.
  5. Scroll down to General and then tap it.
  6. Tap Accessibility > Display Accessibility.
  7. Turn On the Auto-Brightness.

Solution 2: Manage Auto-Lock Feature

  1. Launch Settings.
  2. Scroll down to see Display & Brightness and then tap it.
  3. Tap Auto-Lock and then set the timer to 30 or 60 seconds.

Solution  3: Force Restart
iPhone 6

  1. Press and Hold the Home button.
  2. Press and hold the Wake/Sleep button when holding the Home button.
  3. Hold both buttons until you see the Black Screen.
  4. Wait for sometimes to see Apple Logo.

iPhone 7

  1. Press and hold the Wake/Sleep(Power) button at the right of your iPhone.
  2. Press and hold the Volume Button.
  3. Wait until the Apple Logo appears.

iPhone 8 and iPhone X, XS, XS Max, XR

  1. Press Volume Up button and then release it quickly.
  2. Press Volume Down button and then release it quickly.
  3. Finally, press and hold the Side button( Wake/Sleep button) until the Apple logo appears.

Solution 4: Factory Reset

  1. Launch Settings.
  2. Scroll down to see General and then tap it.
  3. Again scroll down to see Reset and then tap it.
  4. Tap Erase All Content and Settings.
  5. Now the pop-up box will appear with 3 options. If you want to Backup your device then tap Back Up Then Erase.
  6. If you have already taken a Backup then tap Erase Now.
  7. Wait until the process gets finished.

Note: This fix will remove all data from your device. Therefore, it is advisable to take a backup.
Solution 5: Software Update

  1. Launch Settings > General.
  2. Tap on “Software Update“.
  3. If an Update is available, tap “Download and Install”.

Solution 6: Contact Apple Support
